We are an exclusive and private boat club with a hyper focus on our members. This eliminates outside users that typically block availability for our local members, reduces wear and tear on club boats and helps us maintain the fleet at a very high level. Our intent is to eventually grow the fleet, offering an enhanced and more varied mix of high-end boats, which other clubs do not offer.

Boat Club FAQs
Why join the BlueWater Boat Club at Lemon Bay?
Will BlueWater Boat Club at Lemon Bay offer reciprocity?
We intend to offer reciprocity in the future as the BlueWater marina network expands.
Can anyone else besides member(s) drive the boat?
Yes, spouses or children of age can drive boats under the membership with at least one member present, but they must perform the same training/certifications to do so.
Are there eligibility requirements to joining the club?
New members are required to complete The BoatUS Foundation’s Online Course, as well as an on-the-water orientation with one of our staff members.
What are the hours of operation?
Our marina opens at 8:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm. We ask that our members to return by 4:30 pm so our staff has time to stow away the boats by end of day.
What reservation system do you use?
Our club uses the “Boat Club App”, a reservation and billing system that is accessible via smartphone/computer. We think you will really enjoy how user friendly this platform is and find it to be superior to other reservation systems out there – plus there is no additional charge for our users (unlike other boat clubs). Following the signing of your contract, you will receive a welcome email with all the necessary details to sign into the app.
Will new boats be introduced?
We were fortunate (thanks to Milton) to be able to upgrade to some newer replacement boats, while others were not damaged. The current fleet has the same boat count and consists of the following: NauticStar 2016 211 Angler, NauticStar 2019 211 Hybrid, NauticStar 2016 1810 Bay, SeaRay 2020 SPO230, Misty #2 2022 Viaggio 22U Lago Saltwater Series, SunChaser 2023 Geneva Sport 23 Pontoon (new), Cobia 237 Center Console (new), Cobia Gray 220 Center Console (new), SunChaser 2023 Geneva Sport 23 Pontoon (new), SeaPro 2022 Citation 2400 Center Console, and we are exploring adding several other boat types to the fleet as the year progresses. BlueWater ensures that our boats are of the highest quality and are meticulously maintained.
Who should members contact for questions or concerns?
Feel free to ask Paula or Alex in the Dock Office, as well as Chris who can be found in and around the marina. You can contact the boat club at (941)460-6340 or at lemonbay@bluewaterboatclub.com.
