Boat Club FAQs

Why join the BlueWater Boat Club at Pompano Beach?

We are an exclusive and private boat club with a hyper focus on our members. This eliminates outside users that typically block availability for our local members, reduces wear and tear on club boats and helps us maintain the fleet at a very high level. Our intent is to eventually grow the fleet, offering an enhanced and more varied mix of high-end boats, which other clubs do not offer.

Will BlueWater Boat Club at Pompano Beach offer reciprocity?

We offer reciprocity at our other boat club, BlueWater Boat Club at Lemon Bay, in Englewood, Florida. We intend to offer even more reciprocity in the future as the BlueWater marina network expands. For any questions, please email pompanobeach@bluewaterboatclub.com.

Can anyone else besides member(s) drive the boat?

Yes, spouses or children of age can drive boats under the membership with at least one member present, but they must perform the same training/certifications to do so.

Are there eligibility requirements to joining the club?

New members are required to complete The BoatUS Foundation’s Online Course, as well as an on-the-water orientation with one of our staff members.

What are the hours of operation?

Our marina opens at 8:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm. We ask that our members to return by 4:30 pm so our staff has time to stow away the boats by end of day.

What reservation system do you use?

Our club uses the “Boat Club App”, a reservation and billing system that is accessible via smartphone/computer. We think you will really enjoy how user friendly this platform is and find it to be superior to other reservation systems out there – plus there is no additional charge for our users (unlike other boat clubs). Following the signing of your contract, you will receive a welcome email with all the necessary details to sign into the app.

Will new boats be introduced?

The current fleet consists of the following: Aquasport 2500 Center Console (2024), Aquasport 230 Pro Bay (2024), Aquasport 2200 Center Console (2024), Aquasport 2300 Center Console (2024), Aquasport 2200 Dual Console (2024), and we are exploring adding several other boat types to the fleet as the year progresses. BlueWater ensures that our boats are of the highest quality and are meticulously maintained.

Who should members contact for questions or concerns?

Feel free to ask Ruth in the Dock Office, as well as Matt who can be found in and around the marina. You can contact the boat club at (954)943-3200 or at pompanobeach@bluewaterboatclub.com.
